Professor Mpepereki is a holder of a Short Course in Soil Fertility Management in Tropical soils from the University of Aberden, Scotland.
In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Sierra Leone, a Masters of Science Degree in Agriculture – Soil Science from North Carolina State University and a Doctorate in Agriculture Soil Science from University of Zimbabwe.
He is a man who brings into the Board a wealth of experience. Starting from being a teacher at Moleli High school from 1973 to 1976,
He was lecturer at United College of Education and Mkoba Teachers’ College.
In 1988 he joined the University of Zimbabwe a Lecturer in Soil Science.
He has risen through the ranks and is now a Professor of Soil and Environmental Sciences at the University of Zimbabwe.
He is presently the Chairperson of Agricultural Research Council of Zimbabwe.
He is an expert on soya bean / legumes as food security crops. He is heavily involved in training farmers on soya bean production, processing and utilization for food security and HIV/AIDS. He has held several positions of responsibility too numerous to mention in this short resume.

From 2001 to 2002 he was the Deputy High Commissioner at the Zimbabwe Embassy in Malaysia
2002 to 2003 he was the Acting High Commissioner at the Zimbabwe High Commission in Malaysia .
2003 to 2005 he was Deputy Ambassador at the Zimbabwe Embassy in Malaysia
He is the Director Administration and Finance in the President’s Office.
He is also a Lecturer in Business Law, Research Methodology and Strategic Management at Bindura University.

Mr. E. Mugugu has vast experience in the legal field dating back from 1988 when he was a Legal and Professional Assistant
He then became a Senior Legal Officer from 1991 to 1993
In 1993 he became a Principal Legal Officer
In 1996 he was a Military Legal Officer (United Nations) and was involved in the United Nations Angola Verification and Observer Mission for Angola.
From February 1998 to December 1998, he was a Chief Legal Officer (Civil and Administration Law) in the Army and was in charge of giving Legal advice and representation to the Defence Forces on Civil and Administrative Law issues
He is currently the Senior Partner for Mugugu and Associates Law Firm.

Dr Gata is a holder of a Diploma in Advanced Consultancy skills from RVB – Delft, Holland,

Doctorate from Sokoine University Tanzania.
Dr Gata brings to the Board a wealth of experience. She has conducted several highly successful consultancies and numerous researches in the Agriculture field.
From 1975 to 1980, she was a Lecturer in Systematic Botany Weed Biology and control at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Marogoro Tanzania.
From 1980 to 1981, she was the Principal Research Officer and Officer in Charge of Nematology Section. In 1983, she became Director in the Department of Research and Speciapst Services.
2002 to date, she is the Principal Director, Division of Agriculture Research for Development.
Dr Gata is an expert in Indigenous Knowledge Systems in Agriculture. Trainer of Trainees in Research and Extension, Food Processing and value adding research and Training and Organisational Management.
